Description
The Traditional Futon is handmade from three layers of cotton batting, with a firm feel. It’s firm and stable without any spring or elasticity.
A 100% natural cotton sleeping mat inspired by the traditional Japanese design. This cotton mattresses is similar to those used in Japan for centuries (compared to Indian cotton mattresses that are usually ‘ram packed’, not layered).
This is our most compact futon, making it great for travelling or for small spaces.
The Traditional Futon is made to be used directly on the floor, and to be rolled up and stored away during the day. This allows the cotton to air and maintains the loft.

Estimated Delivery Time
All of our latex mattress, futons and bed bases are made to order from our workshop in West Auckland. The usual order completion time is two weeks plus delivery.
Auckland Delivery Cost
We deliver bed frames and mattresses in Auckland metropolitan for a $60 flat rate, and we are happy to setup. We also deliver to the greater Auckland area for $70. Alternatively, you are welcome to pick up from our showroom and workshop in Oratia, West Auckland.

Packaging
Frames are 'flat packed' into cardboard packages. Mattresses are 'double bagged'. Seraphic mattresses latex layers may be bagged individually..
