Description

Easy to Use

The Studio Settee Wooden Sofa Bed is very easy to fold in and out with spring assisted hinges. Simply lift the front and the spring loaded hinges will help with the conversion from spacious couch to full-size bed, and back. Great for the lounge couch, as a daybed or guest bed – wherever space and convenience is important.

A Versatile Wooden Sofa Bed Frame

The Studio Settee is ideal when you want a comfortable sofa without giving up the option of an extra bed. With it’s generous width and armrests, it makes for a plush lounge sofa during the day. It easily transforms into a full-size guest bed, that can be particularly useful when friends and family stay over. It’s versatility makes it well suited to living rooms, guest rooms, studios, apartments, home offices, baches and other spaces where one piece of furniture needs to do more.

Pair it with the right Futon Mattress

The Studio Settee pairs with futon mattresses of a corresponding size. Wondering what type of Futon mattress to use with the wooden sofa bed frame?

For use as a deep, comfy settee and as a bedroom or guest bed, pair it with the Latex Wool Futon, which combines natural latex, wool and cotton.
For a firmer sleeping surface, the Latex Core Futon provides a more supportive option.
A Cotton and Wool Futon will suit those who prefer a softer mattress.

Choose your Double or Queen sofa bed

The Studio Settee is available in Double and Queen sizes. For detailed information about the dimensions of the wooden sofa bed frame in various positions, please consult the Size Guide.

Handmade in Auckland from New Zealand Timber

Every Studio Settee Bed Frame is made in Futonz’s workshop in Oratia, West Auckland, using sustainably grown New Zealand radiata pine from renewable plantations. The timber is finished with natural Haarlem Oil, a tung-tree-based finish that protects the timber while maintaining its natural appearance.

Built to Last

The Studio Settee is covered by a 10-year Futonz warranty covering workmanship, materials and durability. It is also covered by the Futonz 7-day trial for eligible standard bed bases.

Delivery

For Auckland customers, delivery and setup are available, or you can collect directly from our Oratia workshop. Nationwide delivery is also available throughout New Zealand.

Teresa

Auckland

We would just like to say a big thanks for the advice and support we received from your team. We dismantled our bed sofa. On putting it together again, we noted a small inner spring had come out. We called your office and were told that this wee spring would indeed affect the bed mechanism! A couple of new springs were sent by courier to us at no charge. What amazing customer service 👌. The bed is functioning properly again.

Materials

Sustainably Sourced New Zealand Timber

At Futonz we only use sustainably grown New Zealand timber from renewable plantations. Our pine sofa bed bases are made from Pinus Radiata, a strong and flexible wood with a broad clear grain.

Natural Non-Toxic Oils

All our Studio Settee Sofa Bed Frames are finished with a coat of natural Haarlem Oil – from the Tung Tree. Also known as Danish Oil, this coating is non-toxic and environmentally friendly.

Warranties

10-Year Futonz Warranty

We stand behind the quality of all our products – the Studio Settee Frame is covered by Futonz’ 10 year warranty – which includes all aspects of workmanship, materials and durability.

Futonz’ 7 Day Bed Trial

Our 7-day trial means you can try your sofa bed for a whole week to make sure it is the right choice for you. You can get a refund or exchange the product if you are not completely satisfied. This trial promise includes sharing the freight costs: if you have paid for delivery, we will pay for return freight to our workshop. This 7-day trial is extended to full price standard bed bases only. We cannot offer trials on non-standard or customised beds.

Estimated Delivery Time

All of our latex mattress, futons and bed bases are made to order from our workshop in West Auckland. The usual order completion time is two weeks plus delivery.

Auckland Delivery Cost

We deliver bed frames and mattresses in Auckland metropolitan for a $60 flat rate, and we are happy to setup. We also deliver to the greater Auckland area for $80. Alternatively, you are welcome to pickup your order when it is ready from our showroom and workshop in Oratia, West Auckland.
