Bedside Table with a Shelf

The Futonz Classic Bedside Table is a compact wooden bedside table with an open storage shelf, handcrafted in our workshop in Auckland, New Zealand.

Designed with simple, timeless lines, it provides a practical surface for a lamp, books, phone and other bedside essentials, while the lower shelf gives you additional space for storage or display.

Choose your Timber: Pine or Macrocarpa

The Classic Bedside Table is available in sustainably sourced New Zealand Radiata Pine or Macrocarpa, with several timber finishes to suit different bedrooms and bed frames.

Radiata Pine has a clear, natural grain, while Macrocarpa has a finer grain and a naturally warm timber appearance.

If you opt for a Pine Classic Bedside Table, you can also choose between a natural Haarlem Oil finish, a warm Rimu stain, or a dark Java stain.

A Natural Finish

Our Classic Bedside Tables are finished with natural Haarlem Oil, also known as Danish Oil. The oil is derived from the Tung Tree and provides a natural-looking finish while allowing the character of the timber to remain visible.

Each Classic Bedside Table is handmade in our Auckland workshop.

Designed to Complement Futonz Beds

The Classic Bedside Table pairs particularly well with the Futonz Classic Bed Base and Riva Bed Frame, creating a simple, coordinated timber bedroom setting.

Delivery Across New Zealand

Your Classic Bedside Table can be delivered throughout New Zealand. Auckland customers can also choose to collect from our showroom and workshop in Oratia, West Auckland.

Materials

Sustainably Sourced New Zealand Timber

At Futonz we only use sustainably grown New Zealand timber from renewable plantations. Our pine bedside tables are made from Pinus Radiata, a strong and flexible wood with a broad clear grain. Our macrocarpa bedside tables are made from Cypressus Macrocarpa, a slower-growing wood with a very durable finish in a warm hue, and with a fine-grained texture.

Natural Non-Toxic Oils

All our Classic Bedside Tables are finished with a coat of natural Haarlem Oil – from the Tung Tree. Also known as Danish Oil, this coating is non-toxic and environmentally friendly.

We stand behind the quality of all our products – our bedside tables are covered by Futonz’ 10 year warranty on materials and workmanship.

 

Estimated Delivery Time

All of our latex mattress, futons and bed bases are made to order from our workshop in West Auckland. The usual order completion time is two weeks plus delivery.

Auckland Delivery Cost

We deliver bed frames and mattresses in Auckland metropolitan for a $60 flat rate, and we are happy to setup. We also deliver to the greater Auckland area for $80. Alternatively, you are welcome to pickup your order when it is ready from our showroom and workshop in Oratia, West Auckland. Smaller items like pillows and cot mattresses can be couriered to your door.

Nationwide Delivery Cost

Depends on the products and your address. We use couriers for smaller products, and Mainfreight for mattresses and frames delivered to your address. To get a freight quote, you can add the relevant products to cart, then enter your street address in 'Checkout', which asks Mainfreight for their charge. For smaller items like pillows, or if freight seems to expensive, you can add products to cart with your address, note any questions you have here too, then checkout as a 'Quote', and we will get back to you with delivery options and answers to your questions.
