Description

The Latex Wool Futon is a soft and comfortable futon mattress. Made from layers of wool stacked by hand, with layers of cotton and a middle layer of 50mm organic latex. This futon has the same supportive materials as the Latex Core Futon but with additional layers of wool for extra softness.

A soft and supportive futon, perfect for every night sleeping, and compatible will all our slat bed bases. The Latex Wool Futon works great as a sofa and guest bed together with the Studio Sofa Bed. It is too bulky for the Siesta and Devon.

Type of Wool

We choose to use polywool as standard in futon mattresses as it maintains its loft much better. The polywool that we use is a resilient 60% New Zealand wool and 40% poly blend that retains a thick and fluffy loft for longer.

A pure Carded Organic Wool option is also available if you prefer, but please be aware that it will compact more quickly

Futonz’ 7 Day Trial

Our 7-day trial means you can try your bed for a whole week to make sure it is the right choice for you.  You can get a refund or exchange the product if you are not completely satisfied. This trial promise includes sharing the freight costs: if you have paid for delivery, we will pay for return freight to our workshop. This 7-day trial is extended to full price standard bed bases only. We cannot offer trials on non-standard or customised beds.

Estimated Delivery Time

All of our latex mattress, futons and bed bases are made to order from our workshop in West Auckland. The usual order completion time is two weeks plus delivery.

Auckland Delivery Cost

We deliver bed frames and mattresses in Auckland metropolitan for a $60 flat rate, and we are happy to setup. We also deliver to the greater Auckland area for $80. Alternatively, you are welcome to pickup your order when it is ready from our showroom and workshop in Oratia, West Auckland. Smaller items like pillows and cot mattresses can be couriered to your door.

Nationwide Delivery Cost

Depends on the products and your address. We use couriers for smaller products, and Mainfreight for mattresses and frames delivered to your address. To get a freight quote, you can add the relevant products to cart, then enter your street address in 'Checkout', which asks Mainfreight for their charge. For smaller items like pillows, or if freight seems to expensive, you can add products to cart with your address, note any questions you have here too, then checkout as a 'Quote', and we will get back to you with delivery options and answers to your questions.
