| Frame Timber | Macrocarpa timber has a finer grain than pine. Each beam is unique, often showing swirls and compression ripples. The fine grade timber we order is always free from knot voids, but occasionally we see concentric grain. Let us know if you have a grain preference. Pine has a broad grain with natural contrast across the yearly growth rings. We offer a natural finish, or a coloured java or rimu finish. |
