The Havana Bedside Table is a minimalist wooden bedside table, that will compliment any bedroom. Its simple, low-profile design makes it an easy fit beside modern, natural and minimalist beds. Its small footprint provides enough space for bedside essentials such as a lamp, book, phone or alarm clock without taking up too much floor space.

Minimalist Timber Design

Designed with clean lines and a simple, understated form, the Havana Bedside Table works particularly well with lower-profile bed frames and bases, including the Havana Bed Base and Adobe Bed Frame.

NZ-grown Pine or Macrocarpa

The Havana is available in two sustainably grown New Zealand timbers:

  • Radiata Pine – a strong, versatile timber with a clear, broad grain and natural appearance.
  • Macrocarpa – a durable timber with a fine grain and warm, subtle timber colour.

Pine can be finished with natural oil or stained with a warm Rimu or dark Java finish to suit your bedroom furniture and interior style.

Handmade in Auckland

Each Havana Bedside Table is made to order in our workshop in Oratia, West Auckland. We use sustainably grown New Zealand timber and finish our bedside tables with natural Haarlem Oil, a Tung Tree-based oil also known as Danish Oil.

Delivery Across New Zealand

We offer delivery throughout New Zealand. Auckland customers can also choose to collect from our showroom and workshop in Oratia, West Auckland.

Materials

Sustainably Sourced New Zealand Timber

At Futonz we only use sustainably grown New Zealand timber from renewable plantations. Our pine bedside tables are made from Pinus Radiata, a strong and flexible wood with a broad clear grain. Our macrocarpa bedside tables are made from Cypressus Macrocarpa, a slower-growing wood with a very durable finish in a warm hue, and with a fine-grained texture.

Natural Non-Toxic Oils

All our Havana Bedside Tables are finished with a coat of natural Haarlem Oil – from the Tung Tree. Also known as Danish Oil, this coating is non-toxic and environmentally friendly.

10-Year Futonz Warranty

We stand behind the quality of all our products – our bedside tables are covered by Futonz’ 10 year warranty on materials and workmanship.

Estimated Delivery Time

All of our latex mattress, futons and bed bases are made to order from our workshop in West Auckland. The usual order completion time is two weeks plus delivery.

Auckland Delivery Cost

We deliver bed frames and mattresses in Auckland metropolitan for a $60 flat rate, and we are happy to setup. We also deliver to the greater Auckland area for $80. Alternatively, you are welcome to pickup your order when it is ready from our showroom and workshop in Oratia, West Auckland. Smaller items like pillows and cot mattresses can be couriered to your door.

Nationwide Delivery Cost

Depends on the products and your address. We use couriers for smaller products, and Mainfreight for mattresses and frames delivered to your address. To get a freight quote, you can add the relevant products to cart, then enter your street address in 'Checkout', which asks Mainfreight for their charge. For smaller items like pillows, or if freight seems to expensive, you can add products to cart with your address, note any questions you have here too, then checkout as a 'Quote', and we will get back to you with delivery options and answers to your questions.
