Devon Sofa Bed Frame

From $530

A space-saving NZ-made wooden sofa bed that easily converts from a comfortable sofa to a full-size bed.

Description

NZ-Made Wooden Sofa Bed Frame

The Devon Sofa Bed Frame is a simple, space-saving wooden sofa bed that is comfy and functional. It easily converts from a low, comfortable sofa into a full-size bed. Pull the front of the base forward to create the bed, then fold the back up when you want to return it to sofa mode.

Handmade in our workshop in Oratia, West Auckland, the Devon is made from sustainably sourced New Zealand-grown pine and finished with a natural oil. Its minimalistic design makes it a practical choice for guest rooms or dual use in the lounge. Ideal for the studio, apartment, office, rumpus room or bach.

A Sofa by Day, a Bed When You Need It

The Devon Sofa Bed is designed for homes where flexibility and efficient use of space matter. When folded up, it works as a low-profile sofa. When extended, it provides a full-size sleeping surface in the corresponding mattress size. Check the Size Guide for detailed measurements.

Designed for Futon Mattresses

The Devon Sofa Bed Frame works best with the Latex Core Futon for a comfortable bed, or with the Cotton Wool Futon for a sofa that easily transforms into an occasional guest bed.

Handmade in New Zealand

Every Devon Sofa Bed Frame is made to order in our West Auckland workshop using sustainably sourced New Zealand-grown pine. The timber is finished with natural Haarlem Oil, providing a simple, natural finish while protecting the wood.

Available in Six Sizes

The Devon is available in Single, King Single, Double, Queen, King and Super King sizes, making it suitable for everything from a compact guest bed to a larger sofa bed for everyday living spaces. Review our Size Guide for more information about dimensions.

The dimensions as a sofa are approximately 92 cm deep and 76 cm high.

Built to Last

Every Devon Sofa Bed Frame is backed by a 10-year Futonz guarantee covering workmanship, materials and durability. It is also covered by the Futonz 7-day trial for eligible standard bed bases.
