Description

Our wool pillows are very soft and fluffy, and will fit in a standard sized pillowcase. Individually hand-made at our workshop in Oratia, West Auckland.

Wool gives warmth in winter, and a crispness in summer, as the wool naturally regulates temperature and humidity.  A great compliment to our sofa beds for sleeping and lounging support.

Fill and Fabric Options

Available with several options of fill and fabric type.

  • The 100% organic carded NZ wool filling will naturally settle with use until half the thickness (over a year or so of use).
  • Also available in a resilient 60% New Zealand wool and 40% poly blend to retain a thick and fluffy loft for longer, settling to half thickness after five years or so.
  • We also have pure wool ‘buds’ or ‘pearls’ that retain their loft better than carded wool, but may shift within the pillow, requiring a shake to even out.
  • Cover options include a 100% cotton cover and a Cotton-Bamboo Knit Jacquard cover

Caring for your Wool Pillow

All our wool pillows will benefit from being left in the sun on a dry day, and may even re-fluff some loft (some third party fabric will fade in the sun).

Estimated Delivery Time

All of our latex mattress, futons and bed bases are made to order from our workshop in West Auckland. The usual order completion time is two weeks plus delivery.

Auckland Delivery Cost

We deliver bed frames and mattresses in Auckland metropolitan for a $60 flat rate, and we are happy to setup. We also deliver to the greater Auckland area for $80. Alternatively, you are welcome to pickup your order when it is ready from our showroom and workshop in Oratia, West Auckland. Smaller items like pillows and cot mattresses can be couriered to your door.

Nationwide Delivery Cost

Depends on the products and your address. We use couriers for smaller products, and Mainfreight for mattresses and frames delivered to your address. To get a freight quote, you can add the relevant products to cart, then enter your street address in 'Checkout', which asks Mainfreight for their charge. For smaller items like pillows, or if freight seems to expensive, you can add products to cart with your address, note any questions you have here too, then checkout as a 'Quote', and we will get back to you with delivery options and answers to your questions.
