The Cotton and Wool Futon is made from layers of wool and cotton, with extra layers of wool to create a cosy and soft feel. The Cotton and Wool Futon works great with the Devon Settee & the Siesta Settee.

Who is the Cotton and Wool Futon for?

Fantastic for a child’s bed or a sofa and occasional guest bed. We do not recommend this futon for adults since they will be able to feel the slats of the base through this mattress. For adults, we recommend the Latex Core Futon.

Type of Wool

We choose to use Polywool as standard in futon mattresses as it maintains its loft much better. The Polywool that we use is a resilient 60% New Zealand wool and 40% poly blend that retains a thick and fluffy loft for longer.

A pure Organic Carded Wool option is available if you prefer, but be aware it will compact more quickly.

Care for your Futon

Must be flipped over at least once a week to air and maintain the cotton loft.

Futonz’ 7 Day Trial

Our 7-day trial means you can try your bed for a whole week to make sure it is the right choice for you.  You can get a refund or exchange the product if you are not completely satisfied. This trial promise includes sharing the freight costs: if you have paid for delivery, we will pay for return freight to our workshop. This 7-day trial is extended to full price standard bed bases only. We cannot offer trials on non-standard or customised beds.

Estimated Delivery Time

All of our latex mattress, futons and bed bases are made to order from our workshop in West Auckland. The usual order completion time is two weeks plus delivery.

Auckland Delivery Cost

We deliver bed frames and mattresses in Auckland metropolitan for a $60 flat rate, and we are happy to setup. We also deliver to the greater Auckland area for $80. Alternatively, you are welcome to pickup your order when it is ready from our showroom and workshop in Oratia, West Auckland. Smaller items like pillows and cot mattresses can be couriered to your door.

Nationwide Delivery Cost

Depends on the products and your address. We use couriers for smaller products, and Mainfreight for mattresses and frames delivered to your address. To get a freight quote, you can add the relevant products to cart, then enter your street address in 'Checkout', which asks Mainfreight for their charge. For smaller items like pillows, or if freight seems to expensive, you can add products to cart with your address, note any questions you have here too, then checkout as a 'Quote', and we will get back to you with delivery options and answers to your questions.
