Buckwheat hulls, or husks, are the woody shells that protect buckwheat seeds. (Not to be confused with microwavable Buckwheat seed heat pillows.) They are 100% organic, grown and washed by Terrace Farms in Canterbury, New Zealand.

These pillows are very firm and very stable. And very cool in summer because the open structure of the hulls allows air to circulate through the pillow.

Buckwheat hulls have been used in pillows in Korea and Japan for centuries.

Buckwheat husk cushions or ‘zafu’ are popular for meditation as they remain cool during sittings and aid a stable posture. Please contact us for a quote.

Estimated Delivery Time

All of our latex mattress, futons and bed bases are made to order from our workshop in West Auckland. The usual order completion time is two weeks plus delivery.

Auckland Delivery Cost

We deliver bed frames and mattresses in Auckland metropolitan for a $60 flat rate, and we are happy to setup. We also deliver to the greater Auckland area for $80. Alternatively, you are welcome to pick up from our showroom and workshop in Oratia, West Auckland.

Nationwide Delivery Cost

Depends on the products and your address. We use couriers for smaller products, and Mainfreight for mattresses and frames delivered to your address. To get a quote, you can add products to cart, then enter your street address in 'Checkout', prior to payment or inquiry stage. Send this checkout through to us as a 'quote request' if you have any questions.
